Artist's Statement
She may be a modern goddess, a rock star of freedom, or a hidden force behind shifting financial markets. But her gaze is filled with melancholy… disconnected from the world she once watched over. And we, little humans, are too absorbed in our phones, tethered to our laptops, to notice how she feels. Is she still leading, or simply trying to keep up? Her torch is heavy now. Her heart cracked. Maybe even Liberty needs a moment to rest, to heal, and to remember what she was fighting for.
